Autumn in Gippsland

Autumn in Gippsland
Summer has bid goodbye, and yet it doesn’t feel like it. We are still experiencing the delight of summer, which is hitting me skin deep. The only fun I love about our Australian summer is that I can peg by freshly washed laundry outdoors, thus saving from using my dryer.

Eventually, our beloved autumn experience will be here. We just have to enjoy whichever weather it will be.

Meanwhile, I am currently being a busy bee for another upcycling sewing project, and I am excited about this because it takes a lot longer to finish. I started working on bits and pieces in November 2024, and it is still ongoing! I am working on it and hoping to finish before my citizenship ceremony!

Not to mention that I have a growing list of blogs to write! I'm not complaining here. Sometimes, I am overwhelmed with my work, but these make me more fulfilled.

For today’s look, I decided to wear this head-to-toe orange outfit. These two dresses layered together were bought from the local op-shop, along with my pearl and eyewear. I rarely wear heeled shoes nowadays, yet this orange pair I bought on clearance from Cotton-On is hard to resist.

I made this cute purse using the Shiseido pouch I’ve had for years. It is so cute just to throw away. I used my extra gold chain as its strap, then attached these little toys as bag charms, with an extra tassel for added bling.

This is my recent lipgloss favorite from the Australis brand. I have been using it for over two years and surprisingly it isn’t empty yet. I wonder if they still produce this shade. I’m also using this as cheek blush!

Nowadays, I am a minimalist when it comes to my make-up.

I live in Australia. Of course, having a huge spider brooch is a must!

Took this picture of Sadie while I was filming. She’s a very adorable kitty!
