What Luck Awaits Us this 2018 Year of Earth Dog

Time flies so fast and alas, we are excited for the coming New Year.

For most of us, the New Year symbolizes a new beginning, a new light.

New Challenges. New Welcoming Days.

And many of us have started to wonder, what luck awaits us this 2018.

As a woman who always thinks ahead, I’ve found myself checking many do’s and don’ts and other auspicious things and ways that I could practically apply to my daily life. I’ve been very busy since the start of the Mid-Autumn Festival last October 2018 as it was (what I believe) is the perfect time.

Maybe because it’s still the Asian ways I have, that I am accustomed to listening to elders and reading many Asian books to help me guide on what I should do for this new beginning.

A few weeks ago, I was delighted to be invited to my Marco Polo team for an intimate lunch with the very prestigious Filipino Feng Shui Master Ms. Marites Allen.

I was truly excited to meet her. Not because I want to know my fortune, but because I’ve been wishing to meet her for the last many years since I started practicing feng shui privately 9-years ago.

This was when I first laid my eyes on her when am read an article about her in a national broadsheet, and followed her advice which worked with me 90% (the remaining 10% because nature doesn’t permit, hahaha).

From then on, I’ve been wishing that hopefully one day, nature will permit us to meet and have at least a small window of opportunity to know her.

And on that one lunch, my prayers and patience were answered!

I still couldn’t believe that I’d finally met her and had this fangirling feeling!

She also shared and invited us to this coming January 6th, 2018 Feng Shui Convention which will be held at Marco Polo Ortigas. This will be the perfect day to learn her insightful knowledge on what awaits us for this Year of the Earth Dog.

RAT – Long-term benefits expected but need to be wary of the misfortune star.

OX – Pleasant news related to promotion or further career development.

TIGER – A reasonably good year, but must control temper and avoid confrontations.

RABBIT – Monetary gains from last year may be extended to this year.

DRAGON – Take it easy and make sure to implement a calculated risk for anything that you do in 2018.

SNAKE – There will be more chances for your upward achievements.

HORSE – A very rewarding year especially in the love department.

ROOSTER – Do not be too busy that you neglect your personal health.

BOAR – A great start for a new year; however, betrayal may be on the horizon.

Many of the guests asked Ms. Allen about what fortunes awaited them for 2018.

I decided not to ask her about mine, coz the day was her day and I intended to allot my time to listening to her. On the brighter side, I’ve got my own planner guide and taught us how to use it.

Now, it is my responsibility to learn it on my own.
