Hello Ladies and here I am showing again my purchases!
This post was been in my draft for weeks, and just recently I’ve finally complied all the necessary information that I needed for. I don’t just post and post without verifying, duh!
Last December 2016, I’ve shared here my shopping experience at MUMUSO Korea, a store where you can buy affordable items (like shopping in a dollar store!) In my December post, I describe MUMUSO Store as a brand that is born in China with Korean zest, but that what it is.
Though many shoppers are still naïve about MUMUSO Korea as a Korean brand per se, am telling you that all is about marketing. Just like its rival MINISO – a Japanese brand that is born in China which also sells products that are all made in China.
However, this post is not all about my purchases from MUMUSO.
And if you think this is another blogger’s lame post then feel free to move along because I DONT CARE!
When I first heard about it opening at McKinley Hills last December, I knew that there will be something interesting out there, that I need to find out. My shopping experience was awesome, and I’ve bought some cute and useless items :D
Contrary to the generalization that all products and items made in China are in low quality, or either the hub for making fakes, I find MUMUSO Korea products to be impressive.
And using my own money, I took my chance to shopped and grab few items that are useful for me, and finally am sharing you my review of each items.
So definitely this is #NotSponsoredPost
In total I’ve bought six (6) items from MUMUSO Korea and I’ve been using them since December 2016, and let me tell you that I’ve enjoyed them all!
1) MUMUSO Korea Peach Moisturizing Cleanser
If you are a huge fan of The Faceshop products, you will think this is an imitation version of their Peach Facial Cleanser. Though it is obvious that they have similar packaging – it doesn’t translate that MUMUSO Korea’s Peach Cleanser is an imitation.
The label was written in Korean Hangul and Traditional Chinese, this peach moisturizing cleanser is surprisingly thoroughly helps me to cleanse out those impurities on my face.
It also have a mild peach scent, and a mild peachy color that looks so adorable. Am using this alternately with my other facial cleanser available at home.
Price is Php149.00 for 150grams
2). MUMUSO Korea Angel Kiss Perfume Gift Set
I find this perfume gift set too adorable and haven’t resist on buying it. Packaged in two-in-one gift set, these perfume set is so handy you can easily store it to your purse. Each contains 20grams of perfume, you can avail it and give the other one to your bestie!
Although I’ve noticed that these perfume doesn’t last longer. In my experience, it only last up to 2-hours and I find it tolerable. I mean, I don’t expect so high for this handy perfume.
But a gift for your pre-teen niece – this is perfect!
Price: Php 199.00 gift set.
3). MUMUSO Korea Two Tone Lip Bar in No. 03 Bright Orange + Pink
My initial reaction when I saw this at MUMUSO Korea is NO WAY!
At first I was surprised to see this in MUMUSO Korea as it similarly looks like the two-toned lipstick from Laneige! And my first reaction was Woooow another clone! And it’s quite interesting though, so I grabbed it!
The similarity is so uncanny, isn’t it?
MUMUSO Korea two-tone lip bar smells like bubble gum and very easy to apply on my lips. Though it isn’t as too pigmented as Laneige does, this is milk orangey-pink shade that is perfect if you don’t like too intense shades. For day-time look or if you want to wear that sweet-lady look, this lipbar is perfect!
My boyfriend gives me a thumbs up for this shade (which is very surprising, since he’s a type were he has a high distinct taste on makeup for women).
Another cool part is, you have a pink lipgloss at the bottom!
Price: Php 199.00
4). MUMUSO Korea Butterfly Hairband
I’ve also got my fluffy vanity headband it’s so cute and very hard to resist I wish they have other designs the next I visit!
Price: Php99.00
5). MUMUSO Korea Packed Candy Mask
No wonder many western shoppers are always felt “shopping-shock” whenever they see something new innovations on the beauty market here in Asia. This candy packed mask is so cute and handy! You can have it during your travel add with your favourite serum and viola! A relaxing face mask
Price: Php99.00 for 35pieces
6). MUMUSO Korea Crystal Rose Nourishing Sleeping Mask
And speaking of mask, you know am such a huge fan of it. That’s why I didn’t pass this rose sleeping mask that looks like your favourite yogurt. It looks so adorable just don’t forget to not lay it around your kitchen – it might me dangerous, you know, lol
Am using this mask alternately with my other sleeping mask on my beauty shelves.
Price: Php299.00 for one tub
And I guess on beauty and skincare, it is hard to be feeling monogamous when there are many who can provide and sustain all your skincare needs. And it’s very hard to resist. Sometimes am feeling like Marie Antoinette sitting next to my vanity table and happily enjoying my beauty finds, and caring much of the stress the other world gives me. This is the world I love to live in!
So what’s my take on MUMUSO Korea products?
I think that theirs are amazing, they have lots of beautiful and cute items. Though some of them are quite uncanny to other known Korean brands in the market especially in the beauty department, thus it is unfair to tell that those products are fake (contrary to what one beauty editor have said to her friends when I accidentally overheard them during my afternoon tea, and its ironic because they’ve just featured MUMUSO Korea to their beauty website, giving promising remarks for the readers sake, were in fact the editor per se despise it, duh!).
Overall MUMUSO Korea is a place where you can have that stress-release shopping without hurting your pocket. It is a place where you can have those smile seeing those cuteness overload, and also grab some products that will be totally useful for you.
And did I mentioned previously how much fluffiness they have in MUMUSO Korea?
Xoxo, Blair
What a beauty haul you managed to grab. These are all the things that I could be interested in as well!
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily! It was fun to shop because they are affordable and they are soo kawaii :D
DeleteOmg babe i love your haul! Now im wondering if they have Mumuso in Malaysia. The dual lip shade is so similar to laneige. How would you rate the pigmentation?
ReplyDeleteHello Aliza,
DeleteI believe they haven't yet, but hopefully soon! Yeah it was so cray cray to see a clone of Laneige two-toned lip bar at Mumuso, however this version was not too pigmented (well I didn't expect it is). My Mom says it is good as a training lipstick for teens :D
We have almost the same store in Malaysia. The beauty product packaging 99% same as other product but claim their name. Don't know is it branding or fake
ReplyDeleteHello Ika, maybe its the branding and their concept. But hard to say its fake.
DeleteUnless, they are selling the exact copy, even the text and labels are like twins, then that might be a fake. At MUMUSO, I may say its their branding concept, and not fake because even some of their products have a bit similarity from the branded ones, they are still different.
Awww I love everything in this bag, especially the solid perfume.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sunshine, and its easy to put inside your purse!
Deletewow!very cute hairband! so girlish!
ReplyDeleteThank you Venny! Whenever I wear this, I though I looked like a bunny :)
DeleteOmg. i've been wanting to buy laneige's gradient lipstick but it was too expensive. Definitely going to try out mumuso's! Would love to see swatches ❤
ReplyDeleteHello Mieganda,
DeleteYeah I haven't showed some swatches, but it wasn't too pigmented. It's just like a tinted gloss.. perfect for day wearing :)
Wahh. There's actually so many K-beauty product in Philippines as well. Btw, does the pink lip-gloss is better than the 'ori' one? haha
ReplyDeleteHello Zayani,
DeleteThank you dear! Well the Laneige is much better of course and well pigmented. This gloss is good for teenagers, not too powerful :)
This seems to be a quite new brand for me! BTW it makes me feel like want to try it out :P
ReplyDeleteThank you Jacqueline!
DeleteIt is one of the competitors of Miniso.. Ohh Miniso is invading Singapore, despite of many controversies, haha
The perfume set is something i would purchase.
ReplyDeleteso kawaii! Thank you Liza :)
DeleteI wish that they can open in Malaysia! And the two tone lipstick is exactly like Laneige one!! LOLOL!! hahaha definitely a steal =)
ReplyDeleteHello Sharon,
DeleteI know right, I literally laugh when I saw it and I'm curious so I've bought it too. Anyway it was too pigmented, and am not expecting too much. But looks great on my lips and also a nice shade for teenagers :)

ReplyDeleteThe perfume set is nice and so handy!
Deleteis it safe to use that brand? coz i heard from my friend that she buy an aloe vera gel in mumuso after 2 weeks of using that aloe vera, she had a acne until she stop use it that.
ReplyDeleteHello Dear,
DeleteMaybe that one aloe vera is not suitable to her (maybe an ingredients made her got some acne). The rest of the products are okay. It is advisable to buy the trial pack first, so you won't be overwhelmed.
Is the mumuso aloe Vera moisturizing gel safe to use? Because i saw some other blogs that say mumuso products are unsafe to use... :( now I'm hesitant to use what i purcahsed.. Thanks
ReplyDeleteHello Dear,
DeleteI haven't tried their Aloe Vera Moisturizing Gel. Currently am using The Faceshop moisturizing gel.
