How far will you go just to make your skin whiter?
I know that this question sounds odd to me, considering most of the people who knew me well that am so into promoting a whiter skin, but rather this blog and I per se aims to promote healthier skin. And when your skin is healthy, definitely it glows your beauty!
Although you’ve read previously that there’s a moment in my life that I’ve tried glutathione in capsule form before called MET TATHIONE, the promised skin lightening was a fail on me, but it truly give me that glowing tan complexion – a healthier skin that I most like.
So before the NYE, I’ve visited again the FDA Advisory and found its latest about IV Glutathione. There are many IV Injectable Glutathione circulating nowadays and many people are engaging in this procedure in the hopes to achieve that whiter or fairer skin.
UPDATE: New Batch (1) of Unregistered Injectable Glutathione here according to FDA Philippines - as of March 23, 2018
New Batch (2) of Unregistered Injectable Glutathione according to FDA Philippines, as of March 23, 2018
Blame it to the cultural upbringing here in the Philippines, entailing to the mind at an earlier age that having fairer skin is beautiful (no matter what your appearance would be). And blame it to the bitchy and bully parents for subconsciously shaming their kids in public just because they are born with darker skin. These reasons, as the children grow-up and been constantly reminded that whiter skin is more beautiful, and since then been trying all their best to get fairer.
Anyhow, I would like to share this list of unregistered glutathione (FDA Advisory 2016-133-A) issued by FDA Philippines last November 15, 2016. If you are currently engaged to injectable glutathione, I might suggest you start checking your glutathione because it might be in the list.
Yeah these list might be a long one and FDA had a liberty to share some photos for easy identification. I know these might sound scary for some ( these are scary for me! ) but this guide doesn’t aim to scare you but rather just to guide you on your purchases.

Yeah, these might be a humongous SCARE yeah, but let’s face it – we must be so careful about what we purchase especially for anything that is going inside our body system.
And for you ladies and gentlemen if you are reading this and know someone who uses these products, please let them know these. And always be vigilant on some expired or fake beauty products in the market.
You might also want to check the other cosmetics and make-up brands that are unregistered by FDA.
I totally agree with you when you say that when your skin is healthy, definitely it glows your beauty! I don't use lots of products on my skin but I have to suggest this article to my friends, they will love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm for the natural beauty! - A.
Thank you A!
DeleteAm also into natural beauty, and I also respect ladies who undergo surgeries to enhance their beauty. As long as they are safe, and their doctors uses maximum safety, then its okay.
Oh wow I'm so sorry for the kids that were bullied for having darker skin! For me I dont get it at all. Everyone should be accepted for whoever they are and not be shamed into feeling bad about themselves. Im in the UK and I have the palest skin! I adore darker skin! Ree love30
ReplyDeleteYeah, and I can't deny the fact that bullying starts at home. In my case, I used to hear my Momma joking me (which sometimes a form of bullying) tells me I might be switched in the hospital when I was a new born (because I was a stubborn girl). And I was like "WTF"
DeleteMy Momma even told me blatantly that I am so dark, and because I was a child then, I just ignored it but deep inside it gives me that thought of "why my Momma is such an asshole?"
Yeah, and when I got matured (I think I was in college then) when I blatantly corrected her about it.
Sometimes parents thinks they are right, because yeah they are parents. Gladly she realized its wrong.
Oh man, I had no idea! I have friends who swear by these injectables. I'll definitely let them know! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHello Adriana,
DeleteYeah these are circulating around and it was so nice that FDA had issued this memo so that the consumers could be aware that these injectables are not FDA registered/approved.
I read this in the news and it is very scary to think that people expect to look beautiful but come out from the procedure being harmed! I don't think I would want to unnecessarily inject myself.
ReplyDeleteI also done a fillers / skin booster procedures and Restylane is FDA approved which I felt so safe, and so far no bad harm encounter. But I never tried these injectable glutathione (though many of my friends swears that injectables are more effective) still I can't because its going to directly going inside my veins and blood and it scares me.
DeleteIt's a shame that even parents belittle their children if they didnt have a fair skin..nothing is wrong with tan skin... >.< and the listed products are scaring me...even though i dont use it...but still...
ReplyDeleteI agree, still I don't understand why many parents are. Sometimes I told my Momma friends to stop watching tv dramas because they only get misinformation, and adopted it in real-life.
DeleteThanks for this rich piece of Advice. Most people in Nigeria here are always victim of fake product. Thanks for sharing. Need to pass this post on to my friends on Social Media
ReplyDeleteThank you dear!
DeleteWe must all be very careful on what we buy, because it is our right as consumers.
i do agree with you !! We need to be careful when we purchase products
ReplyDeleteHello Shin May!
DeleteThank you for visiting my post. And please help spread this word to your friends specially for those who are kin in using glutathione products.
Wow, this is scary! Need to check before buying products now, better safe than sorry later.
ReplyDeleteYeah that's what we must do, and also checking its expiration dates.
DeleteI've never used anything to make my skin whiter. I'm not even familiar with the products. Maybe it's because I live in the Netherlands. I'm very pale. i'm just glad in the summer when some freckles appear haha. I agree we must be careful with what we buy! Our skin is so important.
ReplyDeleteYeah so true. Whatever products we buy, we must be vigilant to check.
DeleteI only used soap and lotion if I want a whiter skin since I am still breastfeeding my son. Never thought of injecting glutathione because I'm afraid of needles too lols. I will disseminate this to my friends. Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome Mhaan, and thank you for visiting my blog. I never tried these injectable glutathione or any related brands. It scares me AF.
DeleteBeing happy and composed about who you are is the most important part of loving yourself. I think it is very very important to be satisfied with however you are. These things are just not fair.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know life is unfair but we have to learn to live the life that will makes us happy.
DeleteReally interesting blog. This is a subject which i know little to none about, thank you for educating me!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Emily. And thanks for visiting my blog :D I truly appreciate that!
DeleteYung TAD gluta daw po ba ay fda and bfad approved? Tunay po ba yun?
ReplyDeleteHello dear,
DeleteWala na pong BFAD ngayon.. FDA na.
Halat ng nakalista above are not registered sa FDA.
hi blair! TAD 600mg is FDA approved right? can you give me a link of legit seller. thanks!
DeleteHello, You may check the FDA website for the legit/licensed sellers.
DeleteMany people, especially woman are using different kinds of beauty products, like this injectable Glutathione. We really need to be aware of using products. Thanks for this article.
ReplyDeleteI agree. We would be vigilant as well, even though our favorite celebrity endorses the brand.
DeletePlease could you share the FDA approved/ licensed link? Thanks for the helpful information
ReplyDeleteYeah I will, am still collating more information.
DeleteThanks Safiya!
Blame it also to the media here in Ph. Daming commercials regarding pampa puti. Na brainwash na mga tao na ang sukatan sa kagandahan is fair skin. Unlike Bianca Gonzales na embrace talaga niya ang pagka morena niya.
ReplyDeleteAy! Love ko natural skin tone shade ni Bianca :D
DeleteGenuine!
hi sis! could you please send me a link of approved injectables and sellers pati na rin drip salon pls pls pls. been googling all day;(

Hi... I'm planning to go for tad,* 600 or 5000 mg.... Is only tad 2500 is fake? * or all the tad
ReplyDelete?
Hello Shamna,
DeleteI can't tell, dear. FDA only issued memo for Tad 2500. It's better to check.
