Beware of These Injectable Glutathione according to FDA Advisory

, fake glutathione, skin whitening, FDA advisory, IV Glutathione, glutathione Philippines, Glutathione for skin whitening, glutathione injection

How far will you go just to make your skin whiter?

I know that this question sounds odd to me, considering most of the people who knew me well that am so into promoting a whiter skin, but rather this blog and I per se aims to promote healthier skin. And when your skin is healthy, definitely it glows your beauty!

Although you’ve read previously that there’s a moment in my life that I’ve tried glutathione in capsule form before called MET TATHIONE, the promised skin lightening was a fail on me, but it truly give me that glowing tan complexion – a healthier skin that I most like.

So before the NYE, I’ve visited again the FDA Advisory and found its latest about IV Glutathione. There are many IV Injectable Glutathione circulating nowadays and many people are engaging in this procedure in the hopes to achieve that whiter or fairer skin.

UPDATE: New Batch (1) of Unregistered Injectable Glutathione here according to FDA Philippines - as of March 23, 2018

New Batch (2) of Unregistered Injectable Glutathione according to FDA Philippines, as of March 23, 2018

Blame it to the cultural upbringing here in the Philippines, entailing to the mind at an earlier age that having fairer skin is beautiful (no matter what your appearance would be). And blame it to the bitchy and bully parents for subconsciously shaming their kids in public just because they are born with darker skin. These reasons, as the children grow-up and been constantly reminded that whiter skin is more beautiful, and since then been trying all their best to get fairer.

Anyhow, I would like to share this list of unregistered glutathione (FDA Advisory 2016-133-A) issued by FDA Philippines last November 15, 2016. If you are currently engaged to injectable glutathione, I might suggest you start checking your glutathione because it might be in the list.

And for you ladies and gentlemen if you are reading this and know someone who uses these products, please let them know these. And always be vigilant on some expired or fake beauty products in the market.

You might also want to check the other cosmetics and make-up brands that are unregistered by FDA.

Am also into natural beauty, and I also respect ladies who undergo surgeries to enhance their beauty. As long as they are safe, and their doctors uses maximum safety, then its okay.

  2. Oh wow I'm so sorry for the kids that were bullied for having darker skin! For me I dont get it at all. Everyone should be accepted for whoever they are and not be shamed into feeling bad about themselves. Im in the UK and I have the palest skin! I adore darker skin! Ree love30

    1. Yeah, and I can't deny the fact that bullying starts at home. In my case, I used to hear my Momma joking me (which sometimes a form of bullying) tells me I might be switched in the hospital when I was a new born (because I was a stubborn girl). And I was like "WTF"

My Momma even told me blatantly that I am so dark, and because I was a child then, I just ignored it but deep inside it gives me that thought of "why my Momma is such an asshole?"

Yeah, and when I got matured (I think I was in college then) when I blatantly corrected her about it.

Sometimes parents thinks they are right, because yeah they are parents. Gladly she realized its wrong.

    1. Hello Adriana,

Yeah these are circulating around and it was so nice that FDA had issued this memo so that the consumers could be aware that these injectables are not FDA registered/approved.

  4. I read this in the news and it is very scary to think that people expect to look beautiful but come out from the procedure being harmed! I don't think I would want to unnecessarily inject myself.

    1. I also done a fillers / skin booster procedures and Restylane is FDA approved which I felt so safe, and so far no bad harm encounter. But I never tried these injectable glutathione (though many of my friends swears that injectables are more effective) still I can't because its going to directly going inside my veins and blood and it scares me.

    1. I agree, still I don't understand why many parents are. Sometimes I told my Momma friends to stop watching tv dramas because they only get misinformation, and adopted it in real-life.
