Most of us got our very first beauty tips from our Moms’ and yes I admit… they works!
One tip I’ve got from her is classics always comes in-style and it never fades. Whether in beauty line or fashion, this quote always works.
Speaking of classics, one of my favorite is this Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser – it is a moisturizing deep cleanser & make-up remover.
I’ve got my first purchased of this about 3 years ago, when I was in Hong Kong for a holiday and got it for a SALE PRICE of $2.00 (less than Php100.00) at SaSa Hong Kong (kinda like a version of Watsons Store but trust me waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy fabulous!).
Like a kid in a candy store, I shopped (almost crazy) for my skin care regimen, bath products, and make-ups because they are absolutely affordable, plus they have wide range of beauty products from Japan, Thailand, and South Korea that I haven’t seen yet in Manila.
I really like those beauty products that gives you more than one benefits, that’s why I didn’t hesitate to grab this, and also got one for my Mom (she said it’s a good choice as she’s been using it for years).
It has white and very creamy content that is also easy to apply, but I suggest you use a make-up scooper (a plastic spoon will do) to scoop the cream, to avoid contamination and dirt.
I use this to remove my make-up and also for my second cleanse, works divine on me without irritations or sting. It helps easily removes my make-up on one swipe
When I’m out of face-mask, I also use this as an alternative. I rub it all-over my face and let it sit for as long as I like it (anyway I haven’t experiences any bad side effects), then washed it off with warm water.
You’ll gonna love the result as it removes impurities and give you very supple and smooth skin!
One of the craziest thing of this cream is, the effectiveness even on its first usage! You can also use it on any drying parts of your body, especially on your elbows. Can also be use as overnight treatment for your toes.. OMG this cream is a saving grace!
PH price is at 389.00pesos but I tell you it is still affordably cheap, you won't finished this for months.
You might noticed that the packaging haven’t improved in the last years unlike the other Ponds beauty line that keeps on changing the packaging like every 2 years. I believe this is a good thing too, because changing the packaging also costs a lot, and it might also affect the cost and selling price of this cream.
No TVC Ad, social media shout outs, meaning very quiet in all media advertising, which is also good thing because it isn’t in hype and that means the price is till affordable.
Having a mild fragrance, and it also helps to clean-out my pores!
Will I buy again?
