Of all the local cities I wish to visit is Davao Region. I've heard a lot of good things about the place - how it got started, its strict policy implementation, including its rich culture and traditions.
Last year sometime in October, I couldn't contain my excitement when I attended the recent Manila FAME in SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
They showcased most of the country's local industry, arts and cultures, and livelihood programs.
Good thing Davao City joined this fantastic event and built an amazing booth featuring their local goods and raw materials, all being exported in other countries.
I also got fascinated with their weaved household products, and those beading techniques they have -- incredible! I didn't know that these old ways of weaving and beadings still exist in the country.
Check some of our snapshots, and hope some of you would appreciate this old existing tradition.
